A clearer expression of who you are

Find your direction.
Make it recognisable.

A new business, a new chapter or a brand that needs a little more consistency. We start with what makes you, you.

The useful questions come before the first colour palette. Who are you speaking to, what do you want to be known for and where does the identity need to work? We use that context to give the visual direction a clear purpose.

You’ll work directly with our Wigan studio on ideas you can see, discuss and refine. We connect the identity with its everyday use, from your website and social graphics to the printed material your customers hold in their hands.

The thinking behind the look

A clear personality.
A practical identity.

A logo is one part of how people recognise your business. Colour, typography, imagery and the way information is arranged all contribute to the impression. We consider those parts together, so the identity has room to work beyond a single mark.

Real applications help us assess the ideas. A website header, a social post or a printed sheet can reveal what an identity needs to handle. We develop the direction around the places you actually use it, with practical decisions behind the creative details.

Your feedback matters because you know the business from the inside. We explain our thinking and give the review a clear focus, then refine the chosen direction together. Agreed assets and guidance help your team carry that thinking into the next piece of work.

See how we get there

From the first idea to everyday use

Give it character.
Give it consistency.

A full visual identity or a focused design brief: the deliverables follow what your business needs to use.

Visual direction

We explore your business, audience and the personality you want to communicate. References and discussion help establish a considered direction, giving the design work a shared starting point and helping your team assess ideas against the purpose of the brief.

Logo design

We develop a mark that fits the agreed direction and consider how it needs to appear in practice. Different sizes, backgrounds and applications inform the refinements, with the required logo versions and final file formats agreed as part of the project.

Colour and typography

A coherent palette and type direction bring consistency beyond the logo. We consider the hierarchy of information and the settings where the identity will be used, then explain how the choices work together in the agreed brand assets and guidance.

Digital creative

Website graphics, social assets and campaign material translate the identity into the places customers see it online. We work around the formats and content you need, keeping the visual language connected while allowing each piece to do its own job.

Print and marketing material

From a business card to a brochure or campaign sheet, we organise the message and design around the format. We agree content, artwork requirements and the review process, with print production arrangements made clear before the finished files are handed over.

Assets and useful guidance

Your team needs to know what to use and where to find it. We prepare the agreed files and practical guidance for the identity, explaining the core choices and helping you use the assets consistently across future design and marketing work.

A shared creative process

Find the idea.
Work through the details.

You are involved in the direction, the review and the practical decisions that make the final work useful.

Start with a conversation
  1. Get to know you

    The business before the visuals.

We discuss your audience, offer and the impression you want to make. Existing material helps us understand what is working and what feels out of step. We also ask where the design will be used, so the brief reflects real needs from the beginning.

    • Your story
    • Your audience
  2. Agree the brief

A clear purpose and a defined scope.

We set out the design tasks, deliverables and review stages before starting. A new identity, a refresh and a campaign each need a different approach. Content responsibilities, file requirements and any print or third-party costs are discussed so the practical side is clear too.

    • Review stages
  3. Explore the direction

Turn the brief into something you can see.

We develop visual ideas around the agreed brief and present the thinking behind them. Colour, type, graphic elements and relevant applications help make the direction tangible. Your feedback focuses on how the ideas express the business and how well they meet the intended use.

    • Colour & type
  4. Refine together

Give the chosen direction careful attention.

We work through the agreed feedback and refine the selected direction. Looking at the design in its intended settings helps us make decisions about size, hierarchy and detail. We keep the review connected to the brief and confirm the direction before preparing the final applications.

    • Your feedback
    • Design refinement
  5. Bring it into use

Carry the thinking into the materials you need.

We create the agreed digital or printed applications using the approved direction. Your team checks the content and business details, while we review the layout and artwork requirements. The different pieces should feel related, with enough flexibility to suit the job each one needs to do.

    • Digital assets
    • Print artwork
  6. Hand over the assets

Make the next piece easier to create.

We organise the final files and agreed guidance so your team can put the design to work. We explain the versions, formats and any usage details you need to know. If you need further creative as the business develops, you can talk the next brief through with us.

Before we get started

Before we get started.
A few useful answers.

Scope, collaboration and what comes next. A little clarity before your first conversation about brand & graphic design.

Ask us anything
Can you create a new brand identity or refresh an existing one?

Yes. We begin by understanding what your business needs and which parts of the existing identity still work. A focused refresh and a completely new direction involve different scopes. We explain the proposed approach and deliverables before the design work starts.

Can you work within our existing brand guidelines?

Yes. If your identity is already established, we can use the supplied guidelines and assets to create website graphics, campaign material or print artwork. We review the available files and any practical limitations first, then agree the formats and design tasks you need.

Do we need a full branding project for one piece of design?

No. A brochure, social campaign or other focused piece of creative can have its own brief. We still need the audience, purpose, content and available brand assets to make the work coherent. The scope can stay centred on the material you need now.

What files and guidance will we receive?

We agree the required assets and formats at the beginning. For an identity, that can include logo versions, colour and typography guidance and the agreed applications. We also make any font, image or third-party licensing requirements clear so your team knows how the assets can be used.

Do you arrange printing as well as the design?

We can prepare artwork to the agreed printer’s requirements and discuss how production will be handled. Printing, quantities, materials and delivery need their own agreement, so we make clear what is included in the design scope and what needs a separate quote or supplier arrangement.

A first impression. A fresh direction. A more consistent business.
