Your products.
A better place to shop.

Whether you’re taking your first orders online or rethinking an established store, your shop needs to work for the business behind it.

We start with your range, your customers and the way an order moves through the business. Product options, delivery rules, payment methods and stock management all influence the experience. Getting those details right gives the design a useful foundation and helps us recommend a platform that fits.

Our Wigan studio brings design and development together, so the storefront and the day-to-day operation receive the same attention. We plan how people find products, make a choice and place an order, alongside the tools your team needs to keep the shop moving.

A shop is a working part of your business

Easy to choose.
Ready to manage.

Customers arrive with different levels of certainty. Some know the exact product; others need help comparing size, finish or suitability. Clear categories, useful search and well-organised product information give them routes through your range without making every visit follow the same path.

Confidence grows from the practical details. Photography, availability, delivery information and understandable options help people decide whether a product is right for them. We consider the whole route to an order, including the basket, checkout and messages that confirm what happens next.

Behind the storefront, your team needs a manageable routine. We discuss who adds products, checks orders and handles fulfilment, then agree which tools and integrations belong in the project. The result should fit the way you operate and leave room to improve as you learn.

The details that make a shop work

A considered storefront.
A practical operation.

Your range and selling model shape the brief. We agree the platform, functionality and responsibilities before turning the plan into a working shop.

The right platform

WooCommerce, Shopify and Magento offer different ways to run an online shop. We consider the size and shape of your catalogue, required features, existing systems and the time your team has available, then explain the recommendation and ongoing requirements.

A range people can explore

Categories, filters and search help shoppers narrow down their options. We plan these around how customers describe and compare your products, with attention to navigation on smaller screens and useful routes between related ranges, collections and individual items.

Product pages with useful detail

A product page needs to support a decision. We give photography, specifications, variants and delivery information a considered place, making options understandable and highlighting the details shoppers need before they can confidently add an item to the basket.

A coherent checkout

We plan the basket and checkout around your agreed payment, delivery and collection options. Clear costs, helpful form labels and understandable confirmation messages support the purchase journey. Testing includes the different order types and payment outcomes relevant to your shop.

Joined-up shop operations

Stock, fulfilment and marketing connections can reduce repeated administration when they suit the brief. We review the available integrations and define how product and order information should move, including what your team needs to check when a connection cannot complete.

Tools your team can use

We agree how products, promotions and orders will be managed, then provide training on the relevant platform tools. Product data preparation, migration and content responsibilities are made clear in the scope, with further support available by agreement after launch.

An online shop brings together design, product information and business operations. We keep those parts connected throughout the project.

Start with a conversation
  1. Understand the range

How you sell shapes what we build.

We discuss your customers, product range, order volumes and current way of working. Variants, personalisation, trade requirements and delivery arrangements all help define the brief. We also ask what needs to change, so the project addresses the issues that matter to your team.

    • Your range
    • Your customers
  2. Agree the platform

    Make the operating choices early.

We review suitable platforms and the integrations your shop needs, considering setup work and ongoing responsibilities. The proposal defines the features, costs and milestones, including any third-party services. Product content, photography and data preparation have clear owners before the build starts.

    • Platform choice
    • Agreed scope
  3. Design the journey

Give every product a useful place.

We shape the shop navigation, collection pages and product layouts around the buying decisions people need to make. Basket and checkout considerations sit alongside the visual direction. You review the proposed experience with us, including how it works on a smaller screen.

    • Shopping journeys
    • Responsive layouts
  4. Build & connect

Bring the shop and its systems together.

The approved design becomes a working store in a separate development environment. We configure agreed product structures, payment and delivery options, and connect the relevant business tools. Your team can review the shop while learning how its everyday administration will work.

    • Shop integrations
  5. Test the orders

Follow the purchase all the way through.

We test browsing, product choices, basket changes and agreed checkout scenarios. Checks include order notifications, payment outcomes and the information your team needs for fulfilment. Any migration and launch arrangements are planned with you, including how new orders will be handled during the move.

    • Checkout checks
    • Order messages
  6. Launch & learn

    Get comfortable running your shop.

After launch, we revisit the key shopping and management journeys and complete the agreed handover. You can speak to our team when a question comes up. Maintenance, new features and further improvements are discussed around what you learn from running the store.

Before we get started

Before we get started.
A few useful answers.

Scope, collaboration and what comes next. A little clarity before your first conversation about e-commerce.

Ask us anything
Should we use WooCommerce, Shopify or Magento?

That depends on your range, required functionality, integrations and the resources available to manage the shop. We review those needs before recommending a platform. The discussion includes ongoing platform and app costs, editing flexibility and maintenance responsibilities, so you can assess the whole setup rather than only the initial build.

Can you move our existing products and orders?

We can assess a migration as part of the project. The available exports, data quality and destination platform determine what can be transferred. We agree the records, images and customer information in scope, test the proposed move and plan how orders placed during the transition will be handled.

Can the shop connect to our stock or fulfilment system?

We review the integration options offered by your platform and existing systems. Where a connection is feasible, we define what information moves, how often it updates and who handles exceptions. Third-party access, licences and service charges are considered before the integration is included in the project.

Who supplies product information and photography?

We agree those responsibilities at the start. Your team usually provides the underlying product facts, prices and fulfilment rules. We can discuss content and photography support where needed, along with import templates or help structuring the catalogue. Preparing accurate product information is an important part of the project schedule.

Will you help us manage the shop after launch?

We provide training on the shop tools included in the project and explain how to manage the agreed day-to-day tasks. For questions or improvements, you can speak to a real person on our team. We agree maintenance, ad-hoc work or further development separately, with clear expectations about what is covered.

Every website has a carbon footprint. The UK data centre behind our hosting purchases 100% renewable electricity from sources including wind, solar and hydro, reducing reliance on fossil-fuel power.

Using less energy matters, too. Efficient cooling, modern servers and smart caching help reduce wasted energy while keeping your website responsive.

Beyond the servers, our hosting platform supports tree planting and carbon reduction projects through Ecologi. It’s a practical approach to a lower-carbon web, backed by people you can call when your website needs a hand.
