Good design earns its place

Make an impression.
Make the next step easy.

A website has a short window to explain who you are, why you matter and what someone should do next. The strongest designs make those answers feel natural.

We help you put the important information in the right order, use evidence where it counts and remove friction from the journey. That might mean clearer service pages, better product information, a simpler enquiry form or a more confident introduction to your brand.

The creative details have a purpose, too. Photography, typography and subtle movement should support your message and make the experience feel like you.

See how we get there

The whole picture

Looks considered.
Works beautifully.

We agree the exact deliverables around your brief. These are the principles that shape our web design and development work.

A design that feels like you

An established identity or a brand taking its first steps: we translate what makes your business distinctive into a considered visual direction. Layout, type, colour and imagery work together, with room for the content that matters.

Journeys with a clear purpose

Visitors should understand your offer and know where to go next. We plan navigation, page structure and calls to action around real tasks: comparing a service, exploring a product, making an enquiry or booking a conversation.

Comfortable on every screen

A smaller screen deserves the same care as a desktop. We design readable content, usable menus, comfortable touch targets and straightforward forms, then test how they behave across different screen sizes.

Content you can manage

Your website needs to work for your team, too. We recommend a suitable content management system, such as WordPress, and create practical editing tools. A clear handover and training help you update everyday content confidently.

Room to sell and connect

When the brief calls for an online shop, booking system or a connection to your business tools, we plan it early. WooCommerce, Shopify and custom development give us different ways to build around how you operate.

Care behind the design

Optimised images, sensible code and careful loading help keep pages responsive. We also consider contrast, keyboard access, headings and form labels. Performance and accessibility are part of the build and testing process.

We work with.

  • WordPress
  • Laravel
  • WooCommerce
  • Shopify
  • Magento
  • PHP
  • Elementor
  • Cloudflare
  • Google Ads

From hello to what’s next

A clear process.
A shared project.

You know where we are, what comes next and when your input matters. Here’s how we take an idea through design, development and launch.

Start with a conversation
  1. Initial call

    A conversation before a proposal.

We start with your business, your ideas and what you need the website to achieve. We’ll ask about your audience, what is working now and what needs to change, then bring our own ideas and relevant examples. Where the brief is clear enough, we’ll share an early indication of cost so you can decide whether it feels like a good fit.

    • Your goals
    • Current website
    • Ideas & examples
    • Budget guidance
  2. Planning

A clear brief. A shared plan.

We agree the pages, features, content responsibilities and project milestones before work begins. Your proposal sets out the scope, timescales and costs, including any recurring services. If the brief changes, we discuss the impact and agree it with you first. You know what is included, what happens next and what we need from your team.

    • Agreed scope
    • Costs & milestones
  3. Design

    Your brand, brought into focus.

An initial design turns the brief into something you can see and respond to. We explore layout, typography, colour and the journeys that matter, considering smaller screens from the start. You and your team review the direction with us, share feedback and help refine the details. We agree the design before moving into the build.

    • Responsive layouts
    • Your feedback
  4. Build

    See it take shape, together.

Our developers bring the approved design to life on a private staging site. You can follow progress, review real pages and try the features as they come together. We test across devices and browsers, check forms and integrations, and review performance and accessibility. You’re involved in testing, with training on the editing tools your team will use.

    • Private staging
    • Development
    • Testing
    • CMS training
  5. Roll out

    A carefully planned first day.

We plan the move to your live domain, including hosting, redirects, search settings and any agreed data migration. After launch we check the key journeys again, from an enquiry to an order. Once the balance is paid in full, we provide a full website backup and your back-end access, plus access to our hosting portal where we’re hosting your site.

    • Redirects & migration
    • SEO checks
    • Launch & backup
    • Your access
  6. Post launch

Still here when you need us.

Hit a snag? Pick up the phone or send us an email. You’ll speak to someone who knows your website and wants to help you work it out. From small updates to new features, we agree the work and level of support you need as your business develops. We also help with SEO, AI search visibility, content and Google Ads when you’re ready to build on the launch. And yes, we may ask for a Google review once you’ve settled in.

Before we get started

Before we build.
A few useful answers.

Costs, content, collaboration and what happens next. A little clarity before your first conversation with our web design team.

Ask us anything
Do you work with small businesses as well as larger companies?

Yes. We work with founders launching a first website, established businesses planning a redesign and teams with more complex requirements. We shape the scope around the job the website needs to do. Tell us your priorities and budget, and we’ll explain what is realistic, where to invest first and what could come later.

Do we need to be based in Wigan?

No. Our studio is in Wigan, Greater Manchester, and we welcome local conversations as well as projects across the UK and worldwide. Calls, shared feedback and a private staging site keep everyone involved. We agree communication and review arrangements at the beginning, including time zones where needed.

How much does a bespoke website cost?

The number of pages, design requirements, content, features and integrations all affect the cost. We can usually discuss an initial indication once we understand the brief, followed by a proposal with an agreed scope. Hosting, ongoing support and other recurring services are made clear separately. Changes outside the agreed scope are discussed before additional work begins.

How long will our web design project take?

A focused business website and a large online shop need different schedules. We agree milestones for planning, design, development, feedback and launch before starting. Content preparation, integrations and stakeholder reviews influence the timeline, so we make responsibilities clear. If you have a specific launch date, tell us during the first conversation.

Can you redesign our site without losing the important parts?

We begin by reviewing your existing pages, content, functionality and available search data. Useful content and established URLs can inform the new structure. Where URLs need to change, we plan redirects; where data needs to move, we agree a migration approach. We check the new site before and after launch, while recognising that search visibility can fluctuate during a redesign.

Will the website be ready for SEO and AI search?

We build in technical search foundations and organise content so your business, services and expertise are clear. That includes meaningful headings, useful page titles, crawlable content and appropriate structured data. Ongoing content and SEO work can be planned separately. No website build can guarantee rankings or inclusion in AI-generated answers.

Can we edit the website, and what happens after launch?

We agree your editing needs when choosing the platform, then provide training on the parts your team will manage. After the balance is paid in full, you receive a website backup and back-end access, with our hosting portal access where applicable. You can talk to a real person who knows your website when you need a hand. We agree the scope of any ad-hoc help, maintenance or longer-term support together.

Every website has a carbon footprint. The UK data centre behind our hosting purchases 100% renewable electricity from sources including wind, solar and hydro, reducing reliance on fossil-fuel power.

Using less energy matters, too. Efficient cooling, modern servers and smart caching help reduce wasted energy while keeping your website responsive.

Beyond the servers, our hosting platform supports tree planting and carbon reduction projects through Ecologi. It’s a practical approach to a lower-carbon web, backed by people you can call when your website needs a hand.
