1. What does your website need to do?
Start with the outcome. You might want more enquiries, a clearer way to explain your services or a simpler route to buying your products. Decide what matters most, then use it to guide the pages and features you need.
2. Who are you talking to?
Think about the questions your customers ask and the information they need before making a decision. A useful website makes that information easy to find, in language people recognise.
3. What have you already got?
Gather your logo, photography, service information and any existing website content. There’s no need for it all to be finished. Knowing what’s available helps us work out what to keep, improve or create together.
4. What’s your starting point?
Share your budget range, any important dates and the features you consider essential. These give the project a practical shape. It’s also useful to separate what you need for launch from ideas you could return to later.
5. What happens after launch?
Consider who will update the content and how the site will be hosted and maintained. We can talk through the handover and ongoing support alongside the design, so the next steps are clear from the beginning.
If you haven’t got every answer yet, that’s fine. A first conversation is a place to explore the questions together.
