The detail behind the work
I start by mapping the decisions people make before attending. The content, creative direction and booking route then work together, with responsibilities for changing information agreed before launch.
01Define the experience and the audience
We identify what people can do, who the experience suits and how they choose between the available options. I review your existing booking journey and visitor questions, including where the information differs for individuals, families, organised groups or corporate enquiries.
Each page then has a clear job. We decide which activities need their own explanation and when a shared venue page is clearer. The design supports those decisions with genuine imagery and an approach that feels like your brand.
02Bring practical information into the journey
We agree the details people need before booking and before arriving. Your team supplies and approves participation policies, access information, facilities, prices and other operational facts. I organise that material so visitors can find it at the point where it helps their decision.
For a changing programme, I plan how dates and sessions will be maintained. Consistent fields and clear ownership help avoid conflicting information between campaign pages, venue details and the booking destination. Important updates should be manageable without rebuilding the design.
03Connect and check the booking handover
I review the selected provider and define the supported connection before developing it. That may be a clear link into an existing system, an embed or a more involved integration. External software charges and bespoke development are agreed as part of the scope.
We check the visitor journey on phones and larger screens, including venue selection and confirmation wording within the parts we control. Group enquiries are checked separately, so the information requested matches what your team needs to respond usefully.
04Keep the website useful between campaigns
An agreed handover and support plan follows launch. Your team should know how to update the programme, which provider manages availability and where to ask for help. Seasonal content can build on the same structure instead of creating disconnected temporary pages.
Further lead-generation or advertising work can consider the enquiries and visits that matter to your business. A regular session, a group booking and an event registration are different goals; reporting and improvements should reflect the journey you actually want people to take.
