The detail behind the work
I start with what happens when a customer calls or sends a message. That reveals the pages, questions and handovers the website needs to support.
01Choose the work you want to attract
We identify your priority services, the locations you genuinely cover and any work you do not take on. That gives the navigation a useful structure and helps distinguish an emergency contact route from planned work or a larger installation enquiry.
I then plan the content around customers’ decisions: what the service covers, what information is needed and who will respond. Existing pages and useful search history are considered before changing addresses, so a redesign does not casually discard established content.
02Make the contact route honest
A form submission should not look like a confirmed appointment unless your booking system actually reserves one. We agree the wording, confirmation message and follow-up expectations before designing the enquiry journey, including what happens outside your normal working hours.
For more involved workflows, automation can help route or summarise information. Your team remains responsible for deciding whether to accept a job, confirming availability and giving advice. The website should support those decisions rather than pretend to make them.
03Build and check the complete journey
I design the pages for real service descriptions and photographs, then develop the agreed features. We check phone links, forms and booking destinations on different screen sizes, including clear validation and a useful message when a visitor misses required information.
If a CRM connection is included, the checks cover the receiving system and the fields sent to it, using an agreed test route. A simple enquiry website can be a good first release; extra quoting or scheduling features can follow as a separately scoped improvement.
04Improve from the enquiries you receive
After launch, we can review which services attract relevant interest and which questions your team keeps answering. That is a useful basis for improving content, adjusting forms or planning Google Ads around the jobs you want more of.
I can continue with hosting, maintenance and search support as agreed. The work is guided by genuine enquiries and available analytics, with clear distinctions between a contact click, a submitted form, an accepted job and the revenue that follows.
