A managed rental, clearly explained

Pay monthly.
A website with ongoing local support.

If a single upfront build cost does not suit the business, a pay-monthly website can be a practical alternative. My website rental offer starts from £100 plus VAT a month, including the agreed build and ongoing local-business SEO and AIO, with a twelve-month minimum term.

Know which kind of monthly service this is

This is an ongoing website rental service, not instalments towards owning the website. The monthly arrangement continues for the service you receive. The full proposal explains the website scope, ongoing work, cancellation terms and any arrangements if you later want to move or change the service.

That clarity matters before you compare it with an upfront website build. A low monthly headline on its own does not explain ownership, support or what happens after the first year. I will set out those details so you can choose the model that suits the business.

A focused website for a local business

We agree the services, pages and enquiry routes needed for a useful first version. The website should explain what you do, where you work and why someone should contact you, with a clear mobile experience and practical content editing arrangements.

The package is suited to a defined local-business brief, rather than an unlimited bespoke application or a complex online shop. A larger catalogue, specialist integration or substantial custom functionality needs separate consideration and a clear quote.

Local SEO and AIO as ongoing work

The monthly service includes local-business SEO and AIO within the agreed scope. That can involve improving service explanations, useful local content, internal links and the technical foundations that support discovery. We plan the work around the business rather than promise a new page every week.

AI visibility is not guaranteed, and neither is a fixed Google position. I use the available evidence to choose improvements, allow time for crawling and explain what has changed. Useful enquiries remain the business goal, rather than an audit score alone.

Direct contact and suitable tools

You deal directly with me about the website and its next steps. WordPress builds include the managed Pro toolkit, with suitable functions for forms, performance, backups, search settings and compatible AI/MCP connections. The configuration follows the project and the licence arrangements in the proposal.

External advertising spend, paid AI usage and other third-party services are not silently included in the monthly headline. If the business needs those services, I identify them before the work is agreed.

Compare the monthly and upfront routes

An upfront business website starts from £800 plus VAT and includes the agreed design, development, on-page SEO and twelve months of website and email hosting. The rental model starts from £100 plus VAT a month with a twelve-month minimum and ongoing local SEO/AIO.

Tell me the kind of business, the services you want to promote and whether you prefer an upfront build or an ongoing managed arrangement. I can explain the scope and costs of each route in a proposal, so the decision is based on the full service rather than the headline price.

Before we get started

Good questions.
Straight answers.

Will I own the website after twelve months?

No. This is an ongoing rental service, not an instalment purchase. The proposal sets out the service and any options if you later want to change arrangements.

What is the minimum term?

The minimum term is twelve months. The full proposal explains continuation and cancellation arrangements.

Are SEO and AIO included?

Ongoing local-business SEO and AIO are included within the agreed package scope. Rankings and AI mentions are not guaranteed.

Is it suitable for any kind of website?

It is aimed at an agreed local-business website scope. E-commerce, substantial custom features and specialist integrations need their own proposal.
