Useful information in one view
Custom dashboards.
See what needs your attention.
A dashboard should help someone make a decision or spot a task that needs attention. I can build focused dashboards around the information your team uses, connecting suitable sources and presenting the details in a way that supports the working day.

Choose the decisions before the charts
We start with the user and the question. Does the sales manager need overdue follow-ups? Does operations need jobs waiting for information? Does the owner need a view of agreed commercial indicators? That tells us which data matters and how often it needs updating.
A crowded screen of charts can hide the important issue. I plan clear priorities, sensible filters and routes from a summary to the record or action behind it. The dashboard should explain what needs attention, not simply display everything available.

Check the sources and their limits
Information may come from a CRM, website, order system, spreadsheet or an authorised API. We confirm access, update frequency and the meaning of each measure before combining them. Similar-looking fields do not always represent the same thing.
The view should also show when data was last updated and what happens if a source is unavailable. A stale number presented as live information can be worse than a clear warning that a refresh has failed.

Build for the people using it
Different users may need different views and permissions. I can define access around roles, protect sensitive information and make the interface work on the devices people actually use. A field team on phones has different needs from a finance team at a desktop.
Where useful, the dashboard can lead into a workflow: assign a task, open the customer record or flag an exception for review. Those actions need their own permissions and checks rather than being treated as harmless additions to a chart.

Keep the first version focused
A dashboard project is quoted around its data sources, calculations, refresh requirements and actions. I can work alongside your existing team to define a useful first release and build on it once people have used it.
Tell me which reports or spreadsheets you rely on now and what you wish they made easier to see. We can turn that into a clear scope with measurable usefulness and a plan for maintaining the connections.
- Sales, enquiry and operational views
- Agreed metrics and sensible filters

Before we get started
Good questions.
Straight answers.
Can you combine information from several systems?
Where suitable authorised access exists, yes. I check the meaning, timing and reliability of each source before combining data.
Will the dashboard be live?
Update frequency depends on the source systems and project requirements. The interface should make that timing clear.
